Northern California GSO Routes

There are two kinds of GSO routes here in Northern California: The Money Man Route (fewer packages, fewer stops and lots of miles) and The Working Man Route (lots of packages, lots of stops and fewer miles). Here is what it looks like after the line haul truck has been unloaded (which is done by all the drivers) and the packages staged behind each driver's vehicle. From the pictures I'm sure you can distinguish between the Money and Worker routes. But there are advantages and disadvantages for both kinds of routes. The Money Man receives more pay, but he has to contend with longer hours behind the wheel and difficult driving conditions during the winter months. The Working Man can usually finish his route in less time, but he has to work harder for less money. (Just click on the pictures for a larger view).
