The Abundant Life Fellowship Church

This little church (Abundant Life Fellowship Church) is located near the corner of Luther and Paskenta Roads in Red Bluff, Ca. and I pass it almost daily on my delivery route. (Just click on the picture for a larger view).

"X" Marks The Spot

Unusual jet stream crossing pattern. Just goes to show you how crowded the sky is on a clear day. (Just click on the picture for a larger view).

Old Stage Coach Trail Delivery

My last stop today was in Red Bluff about 18 miles out Highway 36 West to Maynard Road then to Old Stage Coach Trail Road. I had to go through two gates to my final destination. If the dirt road looks wet and muddy its because it rained down cats and dogs today. From here I drove another mile or so on Highway 36 West to Bowman Road which takes me to Cottonwood. Hail Storm in Dairyville

I took this picture as I was approaching Oklahoma Avenue in the small community of Dairyville. Dairyville is on Highway 99E between Los Molinos and Red Bluff. Sure glad I wasn't there when it poured down these ice balls. Much of the ice had already melted especially in my lane. (Just click on the picture for a larger view).

The Oasis Springs Ranch Road in Paynes Creek

I attempted a delivery last Friday to the Oasis Springs Lodge that the Paynes Creek Postmaster said was at the end of Oasis Springs Ranch Road off Highway 36 East (about 8 miles off the highway). After going through two cattle gates and about 2 miles I decided that this dirt road was not safe for my kind of vehicle. I would need a 4-wheeler to get there. The worst part about this attempted delivery was that it took about two hours and 70 miles making me late for my other deliveries. I will need a new delivery address before making another attempt.
