The Lady With A Cart and The Walking Man

Two very familiar figures on the streets of Red Bluff are this Lady With a Cart and her dogs and The Walking Man. Here the Lady is crossing Walnut Street at the Post Office and the Walking Man is walking down Main Street south of Antelope. (Just click on the pictures for a larger view).

Eagle On Highway 36

On my way to Platina the other day I spotted this Bald headed Eagle perched on a limb overlooking Dry Creek. I would be surprised if the Eagle is looking for food. This creek dries up the end of Summer and I doubt if there is any fish in it. (Just click on the pictures for a larger view).

Goat Ranch on Highway 36

If you travel west along highway 36 you will pass this Goat Ranch. Look closely and you will see dogs mixed in with the goats.. These big white colored dogs protect the goats from Mountain Lions, Coyotes, and Goat Rustlers. Notice how they gave me the once-over for just stopping and taking the picture. (Click on the picture for a larger view).

The Show Offs

These guys are in front of me but they are definitely not ahead of me because I work for GSO. Golden State Overnight (GSO) is number one when it comes to quick delivery and low delivery prices. (Just click on the picture for a larger view.

The Sacramento River

A view of the Sacramento River from Gardner Ferry Road on the outskirts of Corning. Over to the right and across the bridge is Woodson Park Recreation and Mobil Home Park. I fished this area a lot of times for salmon. As you can see it was a cloudy day. (Just click on the picture for a larger view).
